Fund managers have someone to read the market and the companies in it. Now you do.

you = a person investing their own money

You own a few stocks. One of them moved today. Nobody is going to tell you whether that matters — so you guess, or you spend the evening finding out.

Apex Thoughts LLC builds ApexTrader. It reads the day for you and answers one question: does this need you today? When the answer is no, it says no, and you close the tab.

A fund manager has an analyst for this. An analyst covers a handful of companies; the research here is written by AI, so it covers the whole US market and a curated list of companies inside it — which is why the daily read costs you nothing. English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

01 What we make

Open it once. Know whether today needs you.

Two free reads, and deeper reports when you want more.

Our product

ApexTrader

The worst thing this could do to you is call a day quiet when it was not. So it is built never to invent a reason for a price move it cannot explain — where it cannot, it tells you that instead of filling the silence.

One read for the market, one for a company you hold. Each grades the day and then tells you why, at the length you would give a friend who asked.

When you are deciding whether to keep holding, a deeper report takes that one company: how the odds at today’s price compare with the S&P 500, what could go wrong, and what keeps competitors out. The numbers in it come from documents you can open yourself.

How we make money: subscriptions to ApexTrader, which raise that allowance. Plans and prices are on the pricing page (opens in a new tab).

02 Why we build it

What a fund manager reads is already public.

All of it is free, and all of it is yours the day it comes out. The catch is that it is written for regulators rather than for you, there is a great deal of it, and it is the one place a company has to say what actually happened. What a fund manager has that you do not is somebody whose whole job is getting through it. That is the only thing we built.
